International Trade Fair Calendar 2014

by Redaktion (comments: 0)

Numerous trade fairs have specialized wholly in organic food, natural cosmetics or natural textiles, but organics and “couture nature” in the world of fashion also regularly feature in conventional trade fairs for food and raw materials. At conferences and other events, especially those dealing with the production and processing of food, organic is a theme that is gaining in importance all the time. In this article we’ve compiled an overview of trade fairs in  2014 – in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

January: the Greenshowroom, held from 14 - 16 January in the Kronprinzenpalais, together with the Ethical Fashion Show in the ewerk (picture), presented with their total of 115 brands a major platform for eco and fair clothes during the Berlin Fashion Week. The people discussing orders included buyers and representatives of big companies like Yoox, P&C, Zalando and Otto. Just a few days later, Berlin became – as it does every year - the scene for the International Green Week, the world’s biggest trade fair for food, agriculture and horticulture (16 - 25 January), that again attracted more than 400,000 visitors. The newly designed Organic Hall was packed with visitors, as was the Organic Agriculture Day
